Initial consultation call

Elodie offers prospective clients a preliminary, complimentary telephone call with her. This is so she can understand the client’s particular concerns and explain how she works. Both she and the client can then decide whether she is the right person to help.

Formal consultations

Elodie works face-to-face or, where distance is an issue, on a video platform such as Skype, Zoom or FaceTime. Consultations typically last 1 hour 15 minutes (or 2 hours where cancer is the concern). The consultation is followed within 24 hours by a comprehensive written report detailing advice given, and recommendations made with instructions for implementation. Beyond a few universal and fundamental rules, there is no “one size fits all“ in nutrition, so every summary is entirely bespoke and focused on the client’s particular concerns.

Testing

Dietary manipulation is the first and most important of a nutritionist’s tools. However, in some cases, supplementation of specific nutrients at therapeutic levels may also be helpful to correct deficiencies and/or boost certain chemical processes in the body.

Sometimes laboratory testing is recommended to establish what the problem is and where it originates. Testing can also be helpful for reassuring the client that there is an explanation (there always is) for what is going on, that they are not imagining things (which all too often they are told they are), and also for motivation and monitoring purposes.

Fees

Charges depend on the length of consultation.

Currently, they are £190 for 1 hour 15 minutes which includes a written report and £280 for 2 hours, which also includes a written report. Follow-ups to review test results and progress typically last 45 minutes and cost £90.

Alternatively, when the diagnosis is cancer, clients can pay a retainer fee of £350 which gives them immediate access to 3 hours of advice, which can be taken as and when required.

“Through treating the whole person and looking at the wider picture, Elodie gets the best possible outcomes for her clients.”
